How to Set the Stage for an Inclusive Classroom:
Practical Advice for Teachers

Teaching students with special needs can require teachers to expand their skill set and adjust personal philosophies. Moving beyond “disability” will allow educators to see the individual in a new light in order to focus on maximizing their potential. A discussion of the goals, challenges, benefits and available resources will be explored, giving teachers a practical understanding and place to begin.
